Billy was born and raised in West Virginia! "I’ve always had a love for music from singing along with the country greats on the radio to singing Gospel songs in church."
After working for the railroad for 22 yrs, Billy walked away knowing his passion was to be a full time musician.

Billy Gray Music has a total of 2 full length albums, (Earned Not Given/The Outlaws Who Shaped Me: Vol.1) as well as two singles (Restart/Come O' Come Emmanuel).
Released in 2023 "Earned Not Given" is a testament to the American Spirit, Traditions, and Good Ol' Fashioned Outlaw Country Music. Featuring 11 original songs, all with Billy's flair for rowdy, rockin' country music and a healthy dose of attitude; including his 1st single "Restart".
BGM's newest record "The Outlaws Who Shaped Me (Vol.1), released in 2024, bringing a tribute to the many artists that shaped Billy's style and love for country music; the REAL kind. This album contains fresh renditions of some all time country standards. George Strait, Toby Keith, and Hank Jr. are just a few of the artists Billy pays tribute to in this record. "How Bout You"; Billy's newest original, as well as "Ghost Of Music Row", written by the one and only Chris Gantry, also make their debut with this one of a kind album.
